Information technology (IT) is an FET subject offered to College students as an IEB subject.
The subjects are taught in advanced computer rooms with the latest hardware and software.
- Remove and Lower IV students attend IT Literacy classes. Integration of ICT in the curriculum is regarded as important. Remove students write ICDL (International Computer Driving License) exams. Lower IV students also write ICDL (International Computer Driving License) exams. Further, LIV students do an introductory course in programming.
- Sixth Form students (both Lower VI and Upper VI) can work towards the ICDL (International Computer Driving License). Students in College are also able to obtain an ICDL. The lessons for the 7 ICDL modules are available on our network; and students can write ICDL exams here at school, as St John’s is an accredited ICDL exam centre.
