» Jo'burg Debate
22 May 2011St John's College and TVPC Media are proud to announce the first Jo’burg Debate. This will involve a lively discussion of topical issues between some of Gauteng's top schools' debating talent and you, prospective members of the audience.
The following debates will be taking place:- South African University graduates being forced to teach in impoverished communities
- Dropping sanctions against Zimbabwe in exchange for internationally monitored elections
Audience members will not only have several opportunities to participate in the debate; they will also be the judges, voting at the end of the debate for the side which has convinced them. All of this will be professionally filmed by the team from TVPC Media.
Members of school debating squads are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in this exciting event.
