The Economic and Management Sciences Learning Area teaches financial literacy and develops entrepreneurial skills. The focus is mainly on:

• The boys’ personal role in the economy

• Management and administration skills

• Personal finances

• The role of Government in the economy

• Entrepreneurial activities
• Developing a business proposal
• Doing market research
• Preparing a detailed business plan
• Working out costing

Through EMS, our boys are prepared for the important life skill of managing of personal finances. The boys thoroughly enjoy this subject, especially when we run our annual entrepreneurial day at the school.
