Cultural programme

» REGULATIONS FOR ACTIVITIES PERIOD


Cultural activities are divided into three categories:

  • Clubs and Societies
  • Academic Consolidation
  • Elite Sport Development (by invitation only)

Boys from Remove to Lower Five are expected to choose a minimum of TWO activities per week, and Matrics a minimum of ONE a week.

Boys from Remove to Lower Five who elect to take the minimum of two activities may choose two activities from category A.

Boys from Remove to Lower Five who participate in an activity from category B must ensure that they take another activity from category A.  If they take more than one activity from category B, they are still to ensure that they are involved in another activity from category A or C.

Boys from Remove to Lower Five who participate in an activity from category C must ensure that they take another activity from either category A or B.

Boys who participate in Choir, Windband, Jazzband, Clarinet ensemble, Marimbas, Piano ensemble, Saxophone ensemble, Schola cantorum, String quartet and Strings ensemble are to ensure that they are involved on at least two afternoons a week.
