The 2016 Matriculants achieved a 100% pass rate and a 99% BD pass rate. A total of 445 subject distinctions were achieved. Nine Matriculants achieved an average of over 90%, while 41 had averages of over 80%. In total 81 pupils achieved an average of over 75%, which is 55% of the grade.
A truly magnificent achievement!

In our endeavour for academic excellence, we are delighted with our Matric pupils’ performance in critical subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Science and English. 133 pupils wrote Mathematics with 66 achieving distinctions. 40 of 127 candidates achieved distinctions in Physical Science while 54 of 147 candidates achieved distinctions in English.

Highlights include:

Brandon MacKenzie and Abram Schönfeldt * – Outstanding Achievement within the top 5% of learners in 6 or more subjects.

Christopher Burke, Fayadh Haffejee, Quintus Kilbourn, Connor Mercer, Sango Socikwa, Justin Standish – White ** – Commendable Achievement within the top 5% of learners in 5 or more subjects.

18 pupils achieved in the IEB top 1% of candidates per subject.
