Staff relocations abroad and locally have given rise to exciting opportunities for dynamic and suitably qualified graduates to teach from Grade 8 to matric and/or in our Cambridge A-Level programme.

We seek to appoint Heads of Department for Afrikaans, Drama and Mathematics. Please note the following requirements:

  • A degree in the relevant subject area. An honours degree would be an advantage.
  • A professional teaching qualification (PGCE).
  • A minimum of five years teaching experience within the IEB or Cambridge framework.

We are also seeking suitably qualified and experienced graduate senior teachers to join our Geography and Life Sciences Departments.

» High School English Teacher - With Remedial Experience

The above post requires a graduate English Teacher with high school English and remedial experience, to teach and develop cross-curricula skills in learners who require additional assistance. It is a requirement that the candidate has experience in the IEB Accommodation process and is also able to:

  • manage groups as well as work on a one to one basis
  • enable learners to reach their full potential
  • to work closely with the Head of Department of English.

We seek a dynamic, creative and enthusiastic teacher who would be willing to help in the extra-mural programme of the College and support the Christian ethos of the school.

We seek to appoint an experienced, dynamic graduate English Teacher. The candidate will be required to teach English as a Home Language from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Extensive experience in teaching IEB and Cambridge A-Levels would be an advantage.

» Mathematics Teacher - January 2018

We seek to appoint a dynamic and experienced, professionally qualified graduate in Mathematics, with SACE registration, to teach Mathematics to matric level. The flexibility to get the best out of students with a broad range of abilities is essential and a willingness to be involved in the teaching of Advanced Programme Mathematics and/or Cambridge A-Level Mathematics will be a distinct advantage. Short-listed candidates may be asked to give a lesson on a given topic as part of the interview process.

It offers weekly and termly boarding.

We seek to appoint experienced, dynamic teachers in both the Visual Art Department and in the Latin Department. The candidates will be required to teach from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Experience in teaching Cambridge A-Levels would be an advantage.
