On 17 October, St John's College proudly unveiled the Beyond 125 Donor Wall at a glittering event in the Rene England Auditorium. Mr Stuart Stuart West, Executive Headmaster, described the wall as a "rich tapestry serving as a visual testament to the generosity of our incredible community, reminding us that every contribution makes a difference."
On Sunday, 6 October, on the eve of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu's 93rd birthday, hundreds of students, parents, teachers, church leaders, and head of school embarked on the annual Tutu Memorial Walk.
It is with deep sadness that the sudden passing of John Wilder, an exemplary Old Johannian, is recorded. The St John’s College Community has lost a stalwart advocate for the cohesion and communication of Old Johannians in the cause of a better world, particularly in the United States of America.

The walkway past the “Boy with the Eagle” came alive with the thundering footsteps and spirited cheers of the annual College Dash. Traditionally held on the eve of Gaudy Day, this year's event circled the Deane Yates and Alan Wilcock Vulindlela buildings in a thrilling one-lap race. Each of the nine Houses sent forth its bravest sprinter to compete in this time-honoured event.
Over the half-term break, Motshwane Pege, orchestral percussion and marimba band teacher, travelled to Germany to attend the world premiere of his double choir work, Angele Dei (transl.: Angel of God), winning second prize in Category A of the prestigious 20th Musica Sacra Nova Composer’s Competition.
