St John's Aftercare provides a safe, fun space for children to learn, grow and be happy in after their school day.
Situated on the grounds of the Pre-Preparatory school, our Aftercare caters for boys and girls from Grade 000 to Grade 7. These different age groups are carefully facilitated by our experienced teachers. St John's Aftercare also welcomes children from Roedean School, who we accompany on their walk across the pedestrian bridge that links Roedean with St John's.
St John's Aftercare is open from 11h30 to 17h15 every weekday during school terms. We are open from 09h30 to 13h00 before school closes for a mid-term break. We are closed on the last day of term when school closes for the school holidays. Please note that our Aftercare operates in accordance with the St John's College term dates and is not open during mid-term breaks or school holidays, or public holidays.
Meals are provided to all Aftercare students, including a pre-packed lunch and an afternoon snack with fresh fruit. Water is available to drink during the course of each afternoon.
Our Aftercare staff ensures that any homework allocated is completed.

Fees are charged termly. One full term's written notice is required if you wish to withdraw your child from Aftercare, failing which a full term's fees will be charged.
