Candidates must select three subjects (although certain subjects are tied, e.g. English and Physics, so only one of these can be chosen). Please consult the VIth Form office.

A-levels are offered in the following disciplines:

• Afrikaans (AS Level only)		• Geography

• Biology		• History
• Chemistry		• Mathematics
• Economics (UVI only)		• Physics
• English literature		• Psychology
• French		• Italian and Spanish are offered by special arrangement

South African matriculants who have obtained South African university entrance are permitted to complete a one-year accelerated course to A-level and enter the Upper Sixth. Candidates with GCSE qualifications or the equivalent are admitted to Lower Sixth and spend two years to complete their A-level course.

Extra curricula topics are also introduced according to the demands of the current class. In addition, students wishing to apply to overseas.
