The Michaelmas term at St John’s College is always bustling with activity and energy.
As seen in this retrospective College Life, the new term kicked off with our St John’s College community gathered on Burger Field for a splendid evening of light and sound, celebrating 125 years of St John’s at Light on the Night, with Mango Groove headlining the event. We also hosted a series of celebratory events for our Upper V and Upper VI students in their final year of school. Meanwhile, the rest of the college saw our students continuing to grow the St John’s legacy through achievements in classrooms, on sports fields, and under the spotlight, hitting the right notes. Read more about these achievements as you go through the pages of College Life.
We were humbled by the incredible support from our Old Johannians, Old Johannian parents, current parents, students, staff, and friends of St John’s, who exceeded our expectations at our first-ever Giving Day. Our target of R5 million was surpassed, reaching R7 million, thanks to the generosity of our St John’s Community!
As we approach the festive season, may it bring joy, warmth, and cherished moments to you and your families. May this be a time of reflection, gratitude, and connection. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!
