St John's College

St John's places a strong emphasis on future fundraising and the work of the Advancement Office and the St John's College Foundation.

It is no secret that we rely on the generosity of our community partnerships, St John's families and Old Johannians to help us provide the resources and opportunities our students and emerging teachers need to succeed.

Whether through donations, sponsorships, or other forms of support, every contribution makes a real difference to the impact St John's can make on its community, city and South Africa.

St John’s College Giving Day 2025: The Next Chapter

The second St John’s College Giving Day — The Next Chapter — held on 29 and 30 of October was an extraordinary success and an unforgettable celebration of our community’s generosity.

We are thrilled to share that we exceeded our R6 million target, with our incredible community rallying together to raise R8 655 000 in total. These funds go towards our Beyond 125 Campaign that aims to raise R125 million by 2028.

The Beyond 125 Campaign Case for Support

The 125 Campaign was launched in 2019 with the intention of raising funds to advance the school’s strategic plans. Due to the interruption of Covid, the 125 Campaign had to take a back seat to the many urgent challenges the school faced during that period.

In 2023, the year of the College’s 125th birthday, we are officially relaunching the Beyond 125 Campaign with renewed energy and vision. The Beyond 125 Campaign will pick up where the 125 Campaign left off and continue for the next five years as we work towards our goal of raising R125 million.

The priorities and objectives of St John’s College remain the same – to be a world-class Christian African School for generations to come.
