St John’s College had 21 students performing at the Festival of Excellence in Dramatic Arts, and although there was no winner this year, all our participants were awarded Global Citizens awards.

Another Old Johannian has been uncovered at the Olympics. This time it’s Duncan Woods (OJ Hill 1995, Sixth Form 1996), who is in Tokyo as the Senior Women’s Assistant Coach and Mental Support Coach for the South African Men’s and Women’s Water Polo teams.

St John’s College is proud to announce the superb results achieved by the College and Sixth Form students who participated in this year’s English Olympiad, written by almost 6 000 students across South Africa.

Nick Rodda, Mathematics teacher and Head of Swimming at St John’s College, has been selected as part of the National Men’s Water Polo team heading to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
