St John's College lowers the St George flag
Since time immemorial, the St George flag has been flown from the College Clock Tower on Fridays. This morning, during a dignified ceremony observed by the College community, the St George flag was lowered for the last time.

Thomas Mahlomotja farewell
Thomas Mahlomotja has been a familiar friendly face to many Johannians over the years. Thomas joined The Johannian Club from the Sandton Sun back in 1991 and took up his position behind the bar in The Boar’s Head.

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Norman McFarland yesterday afternoon. “Legend” is a horribly overused word, but Norman was a truly great schoolmaster who had a profound and lasting influence, not only on the young men that he taught but also on so many of his colleagues.

St John's College partners with Sicelo Academy
The Sicelo Hockey Development Academy was started by Mr Nic Dube in 2010, bringing a brand new sport to an underprivileged area with the hope to uplift the youth in a struggling community with little to no sporting facilities.
