The following guidelines for preferential acceptance lead the School Heads:
- Siblings of students already attending the College, Prep, Pre-Prep or The Bridge Nursery School
- Children of Old Johannians
- Children of Anglican clergy
- Parental financial stability
- Parental community commitment
- Academic ability and work ethic
- Applicants who display particular strengths in various fields
- Applicant behaviour record
All students receive automatic acceptance from The Bridge Nursery School into the Pre-Preparatory School, from the Pre-Preparatory School into the Preparatory School, and from the Preparatory School into Remove (Grade 8), provided the students and parents have a sound:
- Work ethic
- Behaviour record
- Fee-payment record
The school heads have the right to review the acceptance of a child at any time across all Grades and Forms.
All admissions will be subject to the non-negotiable acceptance by both parents and students (where applicable) of the following policy documents:
- Headmaster's regulations
- Parent code of content
