- Upper I (Grade 3) Age – year child turns 9
- Lower II (Grade 4) Age – year child turns 10
- Upper II (Grade 5) Age – year child turns 11
- Lower III (Grade 6) Age – year child turns 12
- Upper III (Grade 7) Age – year child turns 13

To apply for entrance to St John's Preparatory, please complete the online application below. An application fee of R500 is required to access the application form. The application process to St John's College is exclusively electronic.
