The swimming season takes place during the first and third terms when our teams participate in galas on Wednesdays.
St John's College competes against King Edward VII, St Stithians, St Benedict’s, St David’s Marist Brothers, AFFIES and Pretoria Boys’ High. The swimming teams compete in both the inter-high relay and individual galas.
Swim practice takes place on a Monday afternoons in The Valley water polo pool, and there is early morning swimming every day at 06h00.
