The St John’s College boys took to the corridors and quadrangles in the annual College Dash.

The St John’s College Academy matric gents celebrated the end of their time at St John's at a Valedictory Service in The Crypt Chapel.

St John's College is proud to present the Head of School and Second Prefect for 2020, Neal Burger (Alston) and Daanyaal Ballim (Fleming).

Students, staff and special guests welcomed Judge Edwin Cameron as the keynote speaker at the inaugural Hugh Lewin Memorial Human Rights lecture.

The St John's College Parents' Association, in collaboration with RMB, present Kulcha Afrika. Kulcha Afrika is a visual arts Exhibition, BUNKA KULCHA that will be open on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August.

St John’s College honoured Old Johannian Mr Owen Nkumane by naming the terraces above Burger Field The Owen Nkumane Terrace at Gaudy Day.

St John's College thanked and recognised Mr Dru Gnodde (OJ, Thomson, 1946) as a benefactor and past Chairman of Council, and the Gnodde Family for their generous contribution to St John's over the years with the naming of The Gnodde Indoor Cricket Centre.

Professor Revil Mason is the recipient of this year’s Golden Eagle Award. Professor Mason is a renowned archaeologist whose most significant legacy is the unearthing of the history of Johannesburg, long before the discovery of gold, and making it easily accessible to those outside academia.

Since time immemorial, the St George flag has been flown from the College Clock Tower on Fridays. This morning, during a dignified ceremony observed by the College community, the St George flag was lowered for the last time.

Clayton House has embarked on a campaign over the past few weeks to encourage their young men to acknowledge and show appreciation for the members of staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to improve our lives at the College, especially the unheralded support staff.

Schoolboy rugby in Johannesburg has always been one of my favourite spectator experiences. The crisp Highveld mornings are defrosted by a cup of hot coffee and later on a bacon and egg roll or a juicy rib burger, and as the day warms up, so too does the atmosphere.
