St John's College

Through a challenging and comprehensive curriculum that fosters creativity and develops critical thinking skills, the boys are encouraged to immerse themselves in a wide variety of areas of study, including “Listening and Speaking”, “Reading and Viewing”, “Thinking and Reasoning”, “Writing” and “Language Use”.

St John’s has a proud and rich tradition of reading, which is embraced by the whole school community. We also encourage our boys to take part in public speaking and boys from Lower II to Upper III (Grade 4 to Grade 7) participate regularly in the Inter-School Public Speaking Festival, known as “Chatterbox”. During the Trinity Term, these boys also participate in an annual public speaking competition.
